Passports

1. Application for a New Kenyan Passport

The Following documents are required for application of a new Kenyan passport:

A completed Passport application form 19 (Revised 2012) available in downloadable form.

Photocopy of the previous passport. (Relevant pages)

4 passport size photographs taken full face and in colour. See notes on passport application form.

Fee of Twenty Omani Rial for ordinary 32 page passport.

Photocopy of marriage certificate where applicable.

Copy of Kenyan National ID Card.

Kenyan Birth Certificate

NOTE:

a) Kenyans are advised to apply for new passport 2 months before the expiry date of their passport
b) Kindly ensure photos attached on passport application forms are as follows:

Clear photos – they should not be blurred nor have a dark hue, all facial features should be clearly outlined.

Photos with full face and both ears showing.

Photos taken against a white background.

The size of the face should be 2.5inches by 2 inches.

Weaves and hair should not cover the forehead or the rest of the face.

Attach at least 3 photos.

Photos should be without shadows in the background.

Photos should be taken without spectacles.
